Germany goes digital: the IQUL Super Exam Week
One week, 307 exams, two firsts: from 5 to 9 October 2026, the IQUL Super Exam Week is under way – and Germany is taking its exams digitally.
This week, things at IQUL are anything but ordinary: from Monday to Friday, 307 on-site exams using IQUL technology are taking place simultaneously at 79 locations across Germany – from Schleswig-Holstein to Bavaria, from Trier to Schkeuditz. More than 12,000 candidates are taking their exams electronically.
The week includes two genuine firsts: for the first time, the tax advisor examination is being written electronically in ten federal states. And in Rhineland-Palatinate, digital aids are being used in the Second State Examination in Law for the first time – in cooperation with the publishing house C.H.BECK. In addition, there are electronic state law examinations in North Rhine-Westphalia and digital exams at numerous IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) locations in Germany.
A week like this does not happen by itself. 22 vans alone brought IQUL's exam equipment from the warehouse to the exam venues. Behind this lies intensive preparation and a team that planned, packed and coordinated everything in advance – and is now supporting the exams on site and behind the scenes.
The Super Exam Week continues until Friday. IQUL will report on the two firsts – the electronic tax advisor examination and the use of digital aids in the state law examination in Rhineland-Palatinate – in more detail here in the news section over the coming days.
